Another story for you. I never experienced putting up a christmas tree at home…but that doesn’t mean that the Christmases I had were less joyful than others’. I even stopped looking into others’ lives as a point of comparison of how “the good life” looks like. I am not the world’s anyway. (Philippians 3:20)
One thing I’ve learned, my love, is that there is freedom in letting go. I hope you are learning that too. Let go of comparison. Let go of envy. Let go of insecurity. Know that by counting blessings, you are shooing away ingratitude. Be ready to receive for we have a generous Father. (Luke 6:38)
So I say, rejoice, my love..Rejoice always. For something awaits. ?✨?You need not be pressured to put up christmas trees in the future. Our future home sure will be adorned by the spark of your leadership and wisdom. Far more valuable than the lights is the Light (Jesus) we will always have at home.
Till then again, my love,
Your love ❤
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of faith produces steadfastness. – James 1:2
